Mr Barry Francis FC.Pod.S.,DPod.M.,M.Ch.S
Mr Francis qualified as a state registered podiatrist at the London Foot Hospital. He was a founder member of the Podiatry Association, which promoted the practice of podiatric surgery in the UK. Mr Francis practices within the NHS as a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Herts & Essex Hospital, Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.
He is a Fellow of the College of Podiatric Surgery and until recently was a member of the Board of the Surgical Faculty, as well as being Vice President of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. He is a past Chair of the Professional Conduct Committee and is currently a screener for the SCP in legal cases. He has published in the podiatric press and has been a contributor to radio and TV programmes. Mr Francis undertakes a range of medico-legal work including personal injury, medical negligence and forensic cases.
He was the first podiatrist to serve as a member of an Olympic Medical Squad and was present with the team in 1984 and 1988 when he accompanied them to Los Angeles and Seoul. He has also served as a podiatrist to the England team at the Commonwealth Games in 1986. Mr Francis was formerly a podiatric consultant to the LTA, working closely with the Rover Junior Players programme.
In his private and NHS practice Mr Francis specializes in foot surgery with particular emphasis on good cosmetic foot surgery results and correction of forefoot deformities. He is experienced in computerized gait analysis and the interpretation of these results in prescribing effective and compatible orthoses to improve walking and other activities.

I qualified from the Chelsea School of Chiropody in 1979. For the past 27 years, I have been working in the independent sector in Central London and also for the NHS in various clinics and hospitals in North London.
I am qualified to administer local analgesia and had specialist post-graduate training courses in Homeopathy, Dermatology, Pharmacology, the Diabetic Foot, the use of Low Power Laser and Child Protection. I hold a basic Life Support Certificate.
I specialise in primary foot care, diabetes and surgery for problem toenails.
I am married and have 3 teenage children.
My leisure hobbies include Rugby, I am a qualified RFU coach (CRB checked), weight training, fitness training and reading.

I qualified in 1980 from the Chelsea School of Chiropody and Podiatric Medicine. I have worked within the NHS, industry and private practice. I am proud to have been an associate at the Fyfield Clinic for some 25 years. My speciality is primary foot care (chiropody), encompassing patients of all ages.
I have formerly been a County badminton player and I have a keen interest in most sports.
In my leisure time I enjoy reading, which is a passion and prevents me passing by bookshops. I live locally and I am married with three children.

I joined the team at Fyfield clinic 9 years ago after 20 years of running my own business.
My out of work interest include travel, reading, yoga and Argentinean Tango dancing. I speak several European languages.

I have worked as a secretary for over 25 years, several of which as a legal PA in London's West End and City. I have been working for Mr Francis here at the Fyfield Clinic for seven years as his PA. I co-ordinate the arrangements for surgical patients within the practice and work closely with Mr Francis in his medico-legal practice, in addition to the clinical work. My leisure hobbies including swimming, cycling, reading (I love crime novels in particular), theatre, music and travel.

I recently joined the team in Fyfield Clinic as an Administrator and Patient Co-ordinator. I am the first stop for any problems with the patients within the practice as well as arranging patient appointments and liaising with referring GPs or Consultants. My background prior to joining the Clinic was working in a busy architectural practice. I am interested in food, wine, Moto GP, live theatre and rambling.
